Has it been two seasons? That is curious...

Yeah. Regardless, I don't see Paul sticking with the Hornets after his current contract is up.

To top it all off, Paul likely out for a month with his ankle injury.

Thornton played well last night. Suns have no defense at all.

Thornton and Collison both rookies played well.

I think the Suns are getting too much love early on.

Both rookies played well again tonight. Even if they don't make the playoffs, this team is fun to watch right now, and that's saying something because I thought they looked pathetic a week and a half ago!

Glad to see Thornton playing so well already in his young career.

I know many fans threw their hands up in the air and gave up after Bower fired Scott and replaced him with...himself, followed by the injury to CP3. But credit where its due. The Hornets are playing much better now than they were for Scott. The rookies are getting an opportunity (necessity in Collison's case, but still) and they are coming through. Thornton's promotion to the starting lineup seems inevitable. They've beaten the league's two hottest teams to start the season in back-to-back games, and won three in a row. Don't know if it will last, but for now, Bower deserves credit for getting the team moving in the right direction again.

Don't know why, but Scott never let rookies get time. It's great to see the hope we have for the future with young players like Collison and Thornton getting such key time against good teams. If the Hornets don't have a very good year, I'm hoping they can grab another good young player to add to their nucleus before cutting ties with players like Peja and West.
