Rivals is reporting that LSU may have a shot at freshman TE Cameron Graham out of Camino C.C. in California, but that if he decides to play in Tiger Town, he will count toward the 2008 class. Why would he not count toward the 2009 class?

Probably gonna expose my Ignorance (again) but CC stands for community college & that is a junior college... (BRCC Baton Rouge Community College). Isn't it? Apparently this player qualified for a division one college after only the spring semester- not sure about any of this- If LSU gets him I am sure some of the full time Forum experts will straighten us out on what , how & why... Straighten me out anyway....
Rivals has Mr. Graham listed in the 2009 tight end recruiting page so not sure whats going on with all that..
I think that he is only going to be @ juco 1 year so he will be in the 2008 class if he had stayed @ juco for 2 years he would be in the 2009 class
I dont think grade issues was the reason he went JUCO. He committed to Oregon, they got a last minute commit, and the numbers game left him stranded and he went JUCO at the last minute. Was qualified his freshman year so will have 3 years left and part of the 2008 class and possibly arriving on campus where ever he signs in June. Not sure if LSU would go this route since we have picked up a few in the past 2 classes.
