IF Lee starts this season and just take hold of this LSU offense and turns a 12-1/11-2 season? All the crap he put up with, constantly in the shadow of JJ. For him to stick this out, I think, truly shows what kind of man he is..

Would be a great mark in his life…..

Lee has been a man the way he has hung in.

Now he has a chance to be THE MAN.

    I wish him great success.

He certainly has the WRs to make something happen. Reuben Randal is off the charts good if someone could get him the ball and I think Odell Beckham will be something.

I've always felt that he still had it in him to be a good QB. Hopefully, with a descent QB coach and a better OC, he could thrive with the experience he's gained being a 5th year senior.

Anyone know anything about the ou defense? All we hear about is ou's offense. What is the ou secondary like? Passrush?

This has the makings of a storybook season for Lee. All of the elements are in place. The only question is, will he perform?

If he has what it takes, he wouldn't let the opportunity slip by. I expect that there might be some up and downs; but how long a leash would the fans give him, given the fact that there is Mett behind him. I don't think Mett is quite ready to take over yet, although I expect him to be quite a capable and good backup at this point. Based on Lee's perseverance in games in his season as a starter, he is very capable of continually fighting and coming back, despite making some mistakes. Would Les stick with Lee the way he stuck with JJ last season? My guess is "yes" ,unless Lee is really horrible.

I fully support Lee and wish him the very best!

He's gonna make his mistakes. Mauck and Flynn made them in the 2 NC runs. If he can come right back with fire like those 2 did instead of getting rattled, we can make another run.
