Those were dunks. They weren't very impressive dunks, but they were dunks. Her hand was above the rim, the ball was put into the cylinder without throwing it, and it didn't go off the backboard or any outer part of the rim.

They looked just like Spud Webb's dunks but with less hangtime.

Two questions:

1) Wouldn't a dunk normally involve having your hand on top of the ball, not releasing it into the cylinder and then desperately clutching the rim, in a vain attempt to make people give a crap?

2) What photographer has so little to do that he/she would actually GO to one of these events? And THEN actually burn some film or disk space on it??
