1. The #1 CB prospect in the nation from Jacksonville has narrowed his list down to 4 schools. He has no favorite but it is between LSU, Florida, Clemson, and Bama.
  2. Florida/Bama, LSU, Clemson if I had to guess.
  3. who says he's the #1 CB prospect in the country?

I seriously doubt he's the #1 CB prospect in Florida, let alone the country.
  4. The ESPN 150 currently has him listed as the #1 CB.
  5. that would explain it.

ESPN might not be the best source for recruiting news.

Patrick Johnson and TJ Bryant are more sought after than Brewer
  6. Once again the ranking process causes confusion. He's not listed as the #1 by other services, in fact he only has a 1 star on Scout. I suspect it may be because he hasn't camped anywhere yet but if that's the case, why does ESPN have him at the #1 spot?

TJ Bryant is a much better prospect IMO and does hold an offer from the Tigers. And don't forget about Robby Green out of JT Curtis.

Brewer apparently has a friend/teammate (?) who is at or committed to Clemson and is giving him the big rush.
  7. Rivals current top 100 has 11 DBs. Brewer is not ranked amongst them, for what it's worth.
  8. He's 1 star because he hasn't been evaluated yet. TJ Bryant is the top DB prospect and it's likely he goes to FSU or Florida. LSU is listed as one of his schools. ESPN's recruiting services suck.
  9. The people in Florida seem to think Xavier Brewer is way overrated - that is, he isnt the best CB, but still a good one.

Bryant is supposed to be the top CB prospect in many years.
  10. i don't think overrated is the right word. I haven't seen where anybody was negative about. It just sounds like people believe that there are better CBs out there.

I can't see where he gone to any camps so he really isn't giving anybody anything to go on. But who knows, that all could change come August.
