1. Maybe so but they were quite behind in the actual play. They just don't see things very fast.
  2. Vern's fingers scare me.
  3. They were much better than expected and the dual player of the game was pretty cool of them. Geaux Tigers!
  4. I thought the same thing. It seemed the more we stayed in the game, the more they came around. I actually didn't wear out the mute button on this one.:)
  5. I also liked Danielson's comment about Lee going through hell two years ago and deserving some better times.
  6. Yeah, that was actually a pretty classy thing to say, and I was glad to hear it from the double douches.
    :miles:
  7. This is very true. At any rate, I don't like Danielson at all. He is irritating to me. Towards the end of the game, he said the Bama WR (Hanks) outran the Hail Mary play. That was a very strange comment given the way these plays almost always play out. The ball was thrown to a certain spot on the field where there was a big crowd waiting. All expected. LSU deflected the ball away from the crowd instead of straight down. And for that reason, Hanks obviously outran the Hail Mary play. :insane:
  8. I think the announcers for CBS were fine today.
  9. Anyone who doesn't like Danielson just doesn't like to hear spot on analysis. Anyone who doesn't lik erne doesn't like an announcer who makes mistakes. But I love an old guy who still has great enthusiasm for the game. I'll take his mistakes. However I think CBS #2 crew is the best tandem in College announcing.
  10. I agree. This was probably their marquee matchup for the year, at least in the regular season. We'll see how big Auburn-Bama gets. It would have been stupid of them to show bias in this game when they undoubtedly had a very strong national audience. But I understand what some of the posters above are complaing about. And to address that, it's easy to pick on a "lower" SEC team that has won 2 :crystal: this decade. We just aren't the sexy pick in the conference. That title seems to be reserved for Florida.
