If this is a double post, I'm sorry.

Check this clip out... Amazing. I can't wait to see the X-man fly.

Veteran Skyler Green lined up to race incoming receiver recruits Xavier Carter and Early Doucet in an informal 100 meters. Carter, the fastest at 4.35 in the 40, slipped at 30 meters, pulled away at 60 and left the other two in his dust.

I'm sorry, the clip was the clipping from the article. It's just an article. Sorry about the screw up.

Was anyone else concerned about this:

"If anything, I see our people being more burned out, ready to go on vacation," Tigers coach Nick Saban said, "more than they usually are."

I wonder if the overwheling demands of a National Championship season has taken a toll on the staff.

    Not really concerned or surprised.

LSU has one of the more professional, more energetic staffs in football. If Jim Tressle, Bob Stoops and Pete Carroll's crews haven't wilted from the pressure of being perennial Top 5 schools the past 3 years, I'm sure Nick Saban's won't, either.

Higher expectations bring pressure, but they also bring richer rewards. Wearing that ring would sure make me feel better, even if I was a little more exhausted than usual.

I't's as much from higher expectations that these guys were burned out as from to many demands for their time at speaking engagements, club functions, school functions, etc. on top of that you had the extra weel of prep for the Sugar Bowl being so late and they actually did recruiting efore the Sugar Bowl so that they wouldn't be behind like they were in 2002. They all need and deserve some time off. Hopefully July is a dead period for contacting recruits.
