The lion was taken illegally. The guy is a poacher that has caused an international outrage. He's a very bad guy or a very stupid guy. Either way, he owns this.
Bullshit, anyone who kills a lion for sport needs to be eradicated. They should put him in the jungle and let hunters hunt him. His head should be on a wall somewhere. Fuck this dude, I hope he dies a slow painful death.

Wow. Nobody here is saying that we are against all safari hunting. The guy lured this lion off of the reservation where he lives SO they could kill him illegally. He deserves the worst punishment possible.
I read an article that says that very little of the big fees paid actually go to conservation. I think the article says 3% or so, therefore these big fees don't help in conservation at all. I'll try to find the article.
