he's not practicing so i'm guessing he's not playing.

they're just sticking with their preseason pick of bama beating us. at least they're consistent and don't change their minds like espn.

Yeah, that's just the preseason pick. They predicted we'd drop one to Alabama, and win the rest.

If all of us dislike preseason polls so much, why are we congratulating CFN for sticking to their preseason prediction? Why shouldn't predictions change as situations for teams change?

I agree with Stacey on this one.

If Bama was 0-8, would they still stick with this prediction?

    From the article:

"A win over LSU wouldn't just bring Bama to the doorstep of winning the West, it would show that in just one year, Saban has shifted the West's balance of power away from LSU"

That's a scary thought. You think this game is much about Miles vs. Saban. You bet your sweet booty it is.

Wrong... It's Shula's players. We won't really know anything till Saban's players take over.

    From the article:

"Defensively, Bama has faced two teams, Arkansas and Houston, that can run. The Hogs rumbled for 301 yards and two touchdowns, and the Cougars got a 100-yard day out of Anthony Alridge. Even though LSU can run, with the second best ground attack in the SEC, it'll have a few issues since ..."

Anybody make any sense of this? He didn't complete his thought, he was questioning our ability to run the ball?

i see your point, i was more making the point that many media outlets waver on who they like and jump on a team's bandwagon (like many are doing with bama now since they can take the lead in the west with a win) but not many were saying that in the beginning of the season.
they did and they are sticking with their pick. they're not coming out of left field with this.

i thought since the beginning of the season cal would beat usc when they play. i also thought it would be usc's first loss of the year and didn't think cal would go on a 3 game losing streak but i still think the bears will win when they play.

things do change during the season (injuries, the flow of the season, etc) and i'm not discounting that.
