i would hope so. much easier life.

but if he develops greatly as a football player (not just safety) he could do either.

doesnt really matter though, someone will draft him in football and give him a nice signing bonus to live comfortably the rest of his life --if he knows how to manage his money.

plus, hes already starting to prove me wrong which is my intent.

I would go with this line of thought.

Overall, he needs to be a big hitter and he is failing miserably in that regard. Teams need to fear going over the middle as well as attempting deep passes. We're not there yet but we need to get there soon.

I look for him to continue his improvement.

PS - I guess I long for the Laron Landry/Craig Steltz days.

steltz recovered the fumble for chicago to seal the win yesterday against the steelers.

also, did you see the clip they showed of brandon jacobs steamrolling laron landry?

it was worse than tebow doing the same a couple years ago. didnt think it was possible.

    edit: here ya go

clearly though no one thought anyone could ever do that to one laron landry. i didnt either-- until i saw tebow plow him and jessie daniels concurrently then drag them both 20 yards.

I also saw that he (Landry) had a half a tackle for the whole game. What's going on there?

I'm happy with his improvement thus far -- he's not there yet -- but he's not far off.

I was wondering if anyone would bring this up. Wasn't it requested of Miles to let Chad forgo Spring Football to focus on baseball? Chad could have used those reps. If time away from football was required to make him a better baseball player, I don't see why the reverse wouldn't be true for his football. It just might be that he needs a few games to get up to speed.
