What is the best QB/RB combo you have seen in the SEC in the last 5 years:

    '04 - Cambell/Williams - Auburn
    '03 - Mauck/Vincent - LSU
    '02 - Zow/Williams - Alabama
    '01 - Clausen/ Henry - Tennessee
    '00 - Grossman/Carthon - Florida

Feel free to add more ... or argue mine

Would agree but Greene/Smith in 2002 would be higher then Zow/Williams as I think Williams was better then Smith but Greene had a much better season then Zow.

I don't see how it could be Mauck/Vincent since Vincent didn't play an entire year.

I'll throw a curve ball and give my answer wrapped up in one person....Matt Jones. :yelwink2:

Also, I think Leak/Fason can be added.

Even though Vincent didn't play all season... he was still the most dominant RB in the SEC at the end of the year... just imagine what would have been if he started... He would have been seated on stage with White, Fitzgerald and company...

I'm still one that likes to give most of the credit to our O-line last year. IMO Caddy and even a couple of other good backs could have done the same behind our O-line in the SECCG and Sugar Bowl. IMO, Caddy is a better pure back than Vincent.

Caddy is a great back, but was he as dominant as Vincent his freshman year ?

Still think that Tennessee and Florida combos were better in '01... not takin anything away from them... what year did Manning/McAllister play together or did they ?
