If any of this is true, I do not like how it is being handled from top to bottom.

Chavis was making 350K when he left Tennessee.

However, I also do not understand a crappy 30K raise when Chavis (even though has late game break downs) is basically the only reason Miles has won most of his games.

It is like the LSU AD doesn't really give a shit if Chavis leaves.

I am on the fence about it, but wonder who we get now if he does go.....
  2. Our football staff don't need no fuckin raises. Not even cost of living, those *holes make a shit-tonne.
    Rouxleaux and shane0911 like this.
  3. I agree, however to lose someone with no = or better replacement when we have the O we have is dangerous.

While Chavis did help lose some games, he has saved our asses more than once. This could have been a 5 win team this year without him.

There is just no word on who we would get. It is like LSU had their pants down or are keeping the search very close to the vest.
  4. I don't care a lot, but too me Chavis has been a lot more heat than light.
  5. Seemed like Les had his pants down in post-game presser. Not thrilled if we lose Chavis, but dude has faults and for 1.3 we could probably find a good replacement. Glad Les has some pressure on him too, he needs to sweat like the LSU fan base has most Saturday's since he's been here.

  7. Pentagon Expression...a lot of energy, not much of it useful!
  8. I guess I can buy that thermodynamically.
  9. Nah, it's over. The fact that the buyout goes from 400k to 0 tomorrow morning is what the hold up has been. Hopefully we'll be able to announce Steele, Orgeron, or Venables by Monday.
  10. The bitch is that to get the top guy that we need, we will probably have to pay 1.5 with a four-year contract, which would have made Chief happy to stay. But if we can't say no from time to time, we have no negotiating power at all.
