1. DAMN! It would have to be one hell of a buck to make me squeeze that $1500 trigger.
  2. That's cheap if you break down what it costs for a lease, stand, feed, etc. Most people cannot hunt public land with the success of jval. More important, to be able to guarantee their young kids would get shots on every hunt- that's huge and only $1000.00.

  3. Yep very cheap all things considered.
tigerbait3 and Bayou Tiger like this.
  4. if they paid 1500$ for the bucks in those pictures I don't know what to say. 1000$ for the hunt and time with kids etc is not so bad and even the $1500 for a truly big buck I could maybe understand......but not the bucks in those pics. Not sure though if those bucks cost the 1500 or if they were just part of the 1000$ weekend.....its said trophy buck was $1500 per the hunters choice so I assume that means any buck killed was 1500 but maybe not.
  5. $1500.00 on top of the $1,000.00. Sooo, $2500.00 for their kid to kill a buck and as many does as they wanted. I have some friends who paid that much to hunt ducks in Canada this year and didn't kill shit to speak of. It's out of my price range but if I had a kid who wanted to shoot a buck I'd pay that in a heartbeat.
  6. A few of those kids shot a rabbit
  7. ????????
  8. Did tiga break the forum?
  9. Don't know about anyone else I just haven't had anything to post in here lately. Deer hunting mostly done. Got a squirrel hunt planned at the camp for end of February. Haven't got back fishing yet. Getting a bunch of neglected house stuff taken care off. Pruning fruit trees and planting new ones. Some routine boat and truck maintanence. Lots of kid stuff. Etc etc etc. have done some turkey scouting which looks good considering the low number of birds we have.
