Seriously, who else thinks they should make a Chex Mix with only the Chex cereal and the rye chips. There's way too many pretzals and bread sticks. When I'm done with a serving at a party it turns into a pretzal bowl.
I dont like too many breadsticks or the white chex crisps. I am all about the pretzels and rye chips though.
this is long overdue. scientific fact that less than 1% of all upright beings like pretzels. and 99% of that 1% is male. no women like pretzels. thats my independent study. except those 8 dollar ones in the mall. thats not a real pretzel though.
Mall pretzels...oh man, just about the only good reason to go to the mall. Well, Dippin' Dots too, I suppose. I like the big sourdough pretzels that have the consistency of granite, as long as I have some mustard with 'em. I'm not a big fan of the little pretzels, though I do like to chew up a mouthful of them, and then swish some beer in my mouth. That's more of a private, at-home type of thing though. :hihi:
One of the best things to do with Chex: Muddy Buddies 9cups Chex® cereal, (any variety)1cup semisweet chocolate chips1/2cup peanut butter1/4cup butter or margarine1teaspoon vanilla1 1/2cups powdered sugar In 1-quart microwavable bowl, stir together chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator The Rye Chips are the best part. If they made a bag with only Rye Chip's I'd be a happy woman. Gardetto's also rock
