the funding of alternatives to move away from oil always ends up and expensive and stupid boondoggle for a special interest like corn farm ethanol. its shit.

And you think that proves WHAT? That heating the world is a good thing? That's a logical fallacy: the conclusion doesn't follow from the premises. A reduction in climate-related deaths neither disproves that the Earth is warming due to human causes, nor that warming the Earth is the cause for the reduction, nor that warming the Earth is an overall good thing.
