I am a little confused:huh:. If LSU wins two out of three against MISS ST, wouldn't that be enough to clinch the SEC since we have the tiebreakers over BAMA, UF, OLE PISS and ARK ? Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

There are no tie breakers for the SEC Title. Only for the tournament seeding. It's like Basketball. That's all I know.

Like he said no tie breakers, however because teams have missed games it gets complicated. The only sure way for LSU to win is to sweep.

My understanding is we go 2 and 1 this week and Bama sweeps or goes 2-0 with another game canceled, we could lose it out right and end up the 3 seed because they would have a better winning % then us.

Assuming Bama does something to be removed from the picture, Ole Miss and Florida could both sweep to tie us if we only win 2 of 3. We would all tie for the title. Our head to head with Ole Miss and Florida would give us the 1 seed. Florida would get the two for winning the East and then Ole Miss would be the 3 seed.

Bama did finish their 3 game series with Miss State.

So they are currently .5 games behind us.

    1. LSU 18-9
    2. Bama 17-9
    3. Florida 17-10
    3. Ole Miss 17-10

If Bama sweeps and we win 2, both of us would have 20 wins, but Bama would be 20-9, and we would be 20-10. It goes by winning % and not # of wins.

I do not think we can count on Auburn beating Bama, so LSU desperately needs a sweep this weekend.
