Anyone still think O is the right guy for this job? Think this team and their body language makes you proud? The guys who play with the most passion and fire are the stud true freshman. Max and Kayshon and Ojulari and Ricks and Roy. This year you got Bech and BTJ and Kiner and Nabers fighting like hell. The upper classmen who have been around O the longest and in our system for years? Black holes of energy, discipline, and technique.. no fire, passion, nor pride. If O can't hire the best coordinators and let them work their magic, recruit nothing but studs on both lines, and inspire his team to give full effort with fiery grit and irrepressible enthusiasm.. then what the hell good is he?
I was the biggest O proponent for a while because the players played damn hard for him. It’s been a while since I’ve seen that passion from the players.
So, who do you want to replace him? And no hypotheticals - you have to pick from actual real coaches. Matt Campbell from Iowa State seems like a good pick. What's yours?
But seriously, what we are seeing now is exactly why I did not want Orgeron at LSU. He has never shown any self discipline and everything he's been involved in has turned into a dumpster fire. It's blatantly obvious that 2019 was because of Aranda, Brady and most of all Burrow. Orgeron is quickly running the LSU program into the ground. Miles was a slow decline but Orgeron has turbo charged our decline to the bottom of the SEC West.
