Yeah, I guess, but many observers noticed that Auburn had the talent and the schedule to make a run this year.

Personally, I think nobody did more with less and did so unexpectedly than Frank Beamer. Winning the ACC over Miami and Florida St. in what was expected to be a "down" year for Va Tech is pretty impressive. Having one of your two losses against USC is not too bad, IMO.

I thought Petrino did a pretty good job also. Should have beat Miami at Miami and gone undefeated.

Yeah ... and VT didn't lose to USC 24-0, either :hihi:
