1. Last week, Michigan nearly lost to that powerhouse Ball State...stayed put. I don't care what anyone says, the SEC is only respected superficially...talk shows, pundits, etc. Rarely does it seem to translate to the actual polls.
  2. I wouldn't bet the ranch on it.
  3. And you put your blinders on to everyone else's no-show attitude last week?

    You are forgetting:

OSU nearly lost to Illinois 17-10 all 17 points coming in first half.
Florida nearly lost to South Carolina...Vanderbilt...and Georgia....three games in a row.
Arkansas sputtered against South Carolina and Mississippi State

and I could go on. Point is, everyone at the top has had at least one game this year they either screwed up or almost screwed up. Ball State was Michigan's.
  4. So you are denying it hurt Fl...but didn't Michigan. That's my point...NOT whether or not every team has had these games. If the poll voters want USC in...it will. I still can't figure out how they ended up getting all the way back to 2 after losing to Oregan State. Oh yeah, that's right...media love.
