A change in philosophy is needed....... Take a break away from That Zone-read stuff, The Gumps had that figured out the last couple of yrs. Let's see if the "big 12" offense will work by installing it in our own scheme. We seem to be equipped with the Qbs, Wrs, TEs and backs to do it. Gotta have a vertical passing game to combat an over aggressive defense. Gotta go West-Coast on those Gumps, Te and backs out the backfield. The same game plan they used we should've used. This. I've always wondered why - with an entire month + to plan - coaches don't prepare a package or two that is ENTIRELY different than what has been shown all year. You do what you've always done to start. If that doesn't work, you bring out the surprise package. Guess that's why I'm not a head coach. On the other hand, when plan A doesn't work, plan B should not be to run Plan A again. I dunno. I'm stunned, hurt and pretty pissed.
