No surprise here. Think we all knew the what, just didn't know the when.

Coker has 3 years remaining on a contract that pays him nearly $2m annually, and the school will owe him between $2.4m and $3m in a buyout.

Paul Dee, Miami's AD, said that if the team went to a bowl game, Coker can still coach them. No thanks.

Wonder if he is interested in the soon-to-be-vacant OC job at LSU?

When you look at Miami, they have had all their troubles on the offensive side of the ledger, even though their recruiting has been excellent (on both sides of the ball). No thanks.

They went into panic mode after the LSU loss. Fired most of the offensive staff. Knee-jerk reaction and look at where they are now.

It wasn't really a knee-jerk reaction. They'd been struggling on offense all year. When LSU shut them down completely, that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

and the big fish (butch davis) is gone, so this means, they'll overpay the heck out of someone, or bring someone no one ever heard of and have him try to make a name for himself.
