  1. Contained Chaos

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

I'll tune up the violin. It really is tragic that other teams won't change their entire football schedule to make things easier on the mighty tide.
Sounds to me like you're already gearing up to add an * to the L's from this season.

The only team with two weeks to scheme and tweak this season for you guys is Alabama. We on the other hand start off with South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU, Miss. St. and Auburn. That's 6 SEC teams in a row. Has such a thing ever been accomplished in the annals of college sports?

  3. LaSalleAve

    LaSalleAve when in doubt, mumble

That is kind of brutal, but if anyone can handle it, it's the mighty mighty tide right?

Remember you have the greatest coach, players, and program in all of college football. This is nothing for the almighty Tide. Quit your belly aching, man up, and have confidence in your team and coach. I mean that is what you have been preaching for months now isn't it? You scared now and looking for excuses or something?

True champions never complain about the schedule.

Yes, it would stand to reason.

That's what I was thinking, what in the world is Les and the gang doing? Can I call you CC?

Yes, we do have a great coach, Perhaps we're just in uncharted waters, captain.

Shucks, we're the Crimson Tide, we ain't afraid of no water. Anyone bring the "life raft?"

Is it true Saban has actually seen a ghost in his office? I heard he had, but wasn't sure if it was Shula, Franchione, Price, DuBose, Stallings, Curry, Perkins, or..... the real one.

Personally, I think it's cool to hire coaches then see if they can last more years than the number of "A"'s in Alabama.

Let's see 4 A's in Alabama, why what do you know, that is exactly how many victories we have in the "Rose Bowl" and till this year, hasn't participated in since 1946. Speaking of ghost, how many Rose bowl wins you guys got now?

Not enough to spell Alabama. :thumb:

Certainly you should have as many asterisks as you like.... you could add them to this list:

    All-Time Records for Alabama

It would certainly be foolish for an Iowa fan to try to compare the measly Hawkeye football program to that of Alabama. I mean... only an idiot would even attempt such a thought. I mean, my God, hallowed be thy Crimson Tide name, right?

I just want to pass along my thanks for the Bama program having to forfeit games due to, shall we say, the obviously wicked shallowness of the NCAA. How dare they question how Bama does stuff.
However, since Ray Perkins took over in 1983 up to today, some eight head coaches later, the mighty Crimson Tide have racked up 199, shall we say, legal wins.

Since the 1983 season, the measly Hawkeyes have racked up... are you ready for this... it's exciting.... 199 wins... with only two head coaches.

Now is that a coinkidink or what?

And you're right, we suck at Rose Bowl wins... actually we are pathetic. We do much better playing southern teams. Hey, we've never lost to Northern Illinois, but then again, we haven't played Louisiana-Monroe yet... no telling how that would go against those monsters!!
