Always thought your fanbase and posters were pretty cool, there are a few that seem to have gone to the aggie/sooner school of hate everything about Texas. We all have our gems though. CONGRATULATIONS LSU!! Y'all were clearly the class of the field this year! I didn't realize just how good you guys were untill you got up here and saw for myself. I've been going to the CWS for a long time, and I've never seen a team hit the ball like LSU did this year. Definately a job well done! Hope to see y'all here again next year!
Thanks Husker and SATX! I'm not that much of a baseball fan, but I caught the second half of each LSU game at the World Series. It's a GREAT sporting event. I think Texas and LSU each earned their way to the championship series and they were the two best clubs up there. Then they played a heck of a 3 game series. If you told me Tx. was going to hit 5 homers in game one, I'd say Tx. would have won that game. Shows what I know... Looked like LSU sleep walked through game 2, but Tx. showed some GREAT pitching that game and controlled the Tigers. Tonights game wasn't as thrilling as Monday, but Monday was a true GEM of a game. The difference seemed to be the Tiger bats, that couldn't be held down forever. Tx. has nothing to be ashamed of, they played great. I enjoyed Chad Jones pitching. Orel may be right, if injured in football, he may get a job in the bigs as a left handed reliever. A great series, now I'm happy for the Tigers!!!
