1. You guys played a great game and beat my Sooners. You'd wipe up the trojans too. Congratulations on your National Championship!

    I'd also like to thank all of you who gave me information on New Orleans, Bourbon Street, Flea Market, restaurants, etc. Your help was key in making our trip absolutely wonderful! (Okay, we would have liked to have won too but we didn't). Our sons and their wives and my wife and I have some memories that will last us the rest of our lives. Before, during, and after the game you folks were gracious and excellent fans. Yeh, the "Tiger Bait" got a little stale but I still got a kick out of it. I can count the obnoxious drunks on one hand and they weren't all from LSU either.

    Again, thank you all for your help and info. I hope that you win out in all sports and we can meet again down the road in championship games. You have won over some new fans from Oklahoma and we appreciate it.

    Geaux Tigers and Boomer Sooner!
  2. Thanks, glad you enjoyed your trip. What were the highlights?
  3. Highlights? A bunch!
    The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel was wonderful with its central location, breakfast, and staff;

    Emeril's NOLA Restaurant atmosphere and food;

    Bourbon Street - granted, we were gone by midnight each night, but I felt safe and really enjoyed the Tiger fans and the banter back and forth;

    Jackson Square - get rid of fortune tellers but everything else was so placid and beautiful;

    Carriage Tour of French Quarter and Cemetary - very enjoyable;

    French Market and Flea Market - Cafe du Monde was great as were the pralines and trolley ride;

    Harrah's Casino - what a great buffet at a reasonable price!

    Court of Two Sisters for brunch - next time, I'll make reservations;

    and last but not least was Pat O'Brien's. I remember the first Hurricane but that's about all.

    We had a GREAT time and look forward to a return trip to go to D-Day Museum and Aquarium.

    Again, THANKS to all you Tiger fans. Congrats again too!
  4. I am glad ya'll enjoyed it. All the OU fans were great.
