    I believe he may be waiting on a possible GT opening and neither team could afford to wait. Of course, thats just my theory.

    Remember -- former LSU assistant AD Dan Radakovich is now the AD of Ga. Tech. He knows Jimbo personally, one would have to assume.

    But how odd. Saban leaves Miami and Tech's Gailey replaces him, then Jimbo replaces Gailey at Tech. So no matter how you look at it, Saban brought Jimbo to LSU and has now had a hand in his leaving.

    Not a long shot, it's rather likely in my opinion. Fisher knows he's going to get serious consideration at GT if Gailey leaves because Radakovich is the AD there and they are great friends. In addition to negotiating for more money, I'm sure he either wanted more time, or an 'out' clause for a HC position at both schools. Because Bama needs a staff NOW, and FSU needs an OC they can count on, neither school could afford to wait.
