And some fans wonder why LSU gets killed in the media. Maybe if we quit whining about blown calls, not getting enough respect, USC being loved by the media, USC winning the AP title in '03, etc., maybe, just maybe we'll improve our image. Until then, a lot of LSU fans look nothing more than crybabies.

Harsh? Yes. But it needed to be said.

I'm by no means being a cry baby about the situation. We're just going to continue to get the short end of the stick and I guess that's just something I have to live with. I'm not going to send a letter to the SEC because like you all said it's time to move on. I'll take the loss as it is because nothing is ever going to change it. That game was decided before it was ever played.

However, if I ever do meet Mr. SEC, I'm still going to kick him in the nads

Contacting SEC officials will not get the last game changed. It will only prejudice them against LSU for next years game. Officials hate to be accused of incompetence and they hold grudges.

sure its not equal...was just joking around...

but are the season ticket holders who were denied seating vs ULL wrong to write an email to skip and complain? No. Those season ticket holders EXPECT better treatment. Much like when I or anyone else who watches an SEC game should EXPECT fair treatment by the refs. This will NEVER change without letting the powers that be know how we the fans feel.

So whats the fault in sending a letter to the main man?

I disagree with contacting the SEC and I couldn't disagree more with your take. Let USC, Notre Dame or one of the other media darlings have something like that happen to them and you'll see just what a sore loser or crybaby really is. Hell, there would probably even be a congressional investigation into the matter.

Doubtful. Come on, man. If you really think that a bunch of fans contacting the SEC is going to make a huge difference, I've got some non-waterlogged property in the Lower 9th Ward to sell you.

And your post just further proves my point about whining about USC and Notre Dame and the other "media darlings". It just gets really old.
