They made some concoction they called gin. Not even close to beer.

I don't think Mr. Beer is close to beer. It is fermented alcohol with beer flavor. Drank Up though.

Mr. Beer is a not brand of near beer. It's a home brewing kit. The beer is just the same as if you brewed it using other brands of equipment.
