i am hearing a lot about him goin 2 linebacker. If anything i will move Chad Jones to linebacker. I think CL would make a better saftey than linebacker what do yall think
Chad Jones might not even be on the team next year if he goes pro in baseball. Miles has always said that Chad's natural position is FS and he is not always the best tackler on the team. Loston has that LB mentality, fast, has the size, great form tackles, and can cover the backfield, etc... He is not definitely going to be a LB though, he will be tried at the position in the Spring and maybe during bowl practices. I am usually all for getting another playmaker on the field and this sounds like a great way to do it if it all works out.
i know but i would really like to see the kid at saftey. I think there is still a question mark at strong saftey
Not a chance. I'd prefer to leave him at safety.. but we have tons of guys who can play that position. Having a game changer at LB would be huge for us.
Maybe, maybe not. Coleman may have played himself into the NFL this year. We willl see how big Loston gets over the next year. He may play both.
Some of you must have seen a lot more of Loston than I did to have such expert opinions regarding where he should be playing. Interestingly enough, I haven't seen him play safety since the UA game last year.:huh:
I believe by UA, Fish means Under Armour game last year. By the way, put him at center if it helps LSU win games, I don't care.
