Still here. I tried to walk outside and look around and some guy went running buy screaming at everyone to get back in their offices. It looks pretty bad outside.
"Well, I looked outside the trailer and I saw a dog go by. Then I heard a sound like a freight train and suddenly all hell broke loose." - Salty to news media 11/15/05
Speaking from experience i can tell you if it comes close you will never forget the sound. Be safe. I was at my parents home in Benton La. and a tornado came down their street and passed within 50 yards of their house. It took 4 of their big pine trees and laid them down right beside the house. Boat dock had roof ripped off and i was only one home. I can tell you they are no fun. My parents were very lucky the trees missed the house. 2 houses down the trees landed right in the middle of the house and crushed it. Rest of their street looked like a war zone. That tornado killed 10 people and i will never forget the sound of it coming through.
Hell no. I just had the thing painted. Radio said that one touched down in south Monroe. I hope no one was hurt. Everything is fine here.
I don't think you could really tell if a tornado touched down on the southside of Monroe. It looks bad enough already. lefire: lefire: lefire: lefire: lefire: lefire: lefire: lefire:
