Ok, guys, you ready for a burger that will knock your socks off??

Prepare your ground meat the way you always do when making your famous (enter last name here) burgers. Then, buy a pound of peeled/cooked crawfish tails at your local grocer and add them in the ground meat. Make large patty and grill! Before they are done (red gone out of center) slop some Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce!

You will never eat a regular hamburger again!!

btw - if you've never tried Sweet Baby Ray's sauce, you don't know what you're missin!

An old roommate of mine used to make shrimp burgers. He would dice up shrimp into chunks and form patties which he would freeze just until they held together well. Then he'd batter and bread them with seasoned breading before deep frying.

Put them on a whopper bun with cocktail sauce, lettuce and tomato, and a little Tony's and it was damn good eating.

I'm lazy. I just make a shrimp po-boy by putting a layer of fried shrimp on it.

I mentioned this idea to one of our resident Cajun\LSU Grads at the hospital and she looked at me as though I was crazy. Now I will have to make some and take them to work.

Don't forget that crawfish make an excellent omelet, especially the ones left over from the crawfish boil. Be sure to peel them first !

    Burger sounds a bit gross.

I highly suggest Scrambled Eggs with Crawfish. A staple for the morning hangover after a crawfish boil.
    Good stuff.

My wife and I use the extra crawfish to add to our spinach and artichoke dip.

Tiga's always gotta get so damn complicated with stuff instead of just giving you the answer. I get my at my local Albertson's. But it's pretty common so I would have to say any decent grocery chain. Just check the aisle where they keep the other bbq sauce and ketchups.

Please try it, you'll never buy anything else! :thumb:
