2 big cans of cherry filling (or any of that kind of stuff)
1 box of cake mix (original calls for vanilla/yellow, but I got some choco mix and the cherries....with the "Queen of No" out of town til Sunday, we might just see)
1 stick of butter, melted.

Dump the cans of cherry filling in the crockpot (I like it that the directions call for dumping rather than pouring)
Sprinkle the cake mix on top
"Drizzle" the melted butter over the cake mix..kinda hard for me to type "drizzle." Not a manly word. (the last time, before this recipe, I drizzled, it took a couple of shots to clear it up)

Low, four hours. Boom

We have started mixing everything up with a wooden spoon before cooking. Pretty much tastes the same.

It's all good. Plus, it makes a shitload!

I'm a Scoutmaster in my son's Boy Scout troop. This recipe is called Dump Cake for real! We make it in Dutch ovens on camp outs, and it is seriously good! Never thought about making it in a crock pot.

That's cool, I don't think we had a recipe name. But is still good.
