1. Miss St. coach and distinguished bama alum Sylvester Croom spoke to the Huntsville, AL QB Club last night. He pulled no punches in his comments after last Saturday's game with bama. Coach Croom said "they're not a great football team but they know how to win. We've played three or four teams that are better from a talent standpoint."

When asked what impressed him the least about bama Croom said "You really want to know?" then added "I didn't think they played with as much class as Alabama teams usually do. All thatbumping and someother little things they did between plays...I wasn't impressed with that at all.

Wow, a former bama player questioning their class. Hell must be frozen:grin:
  2. Sour grapes
  3. And directly from our players..."MSU is the dirtiest team we've played all year long."

Now, I could give you several paragraphs about what is going on in Starkville with Croom, etc. Do you want to hear it? (this info isn't coming from Bama folk, but from one of their coaches, one of their current players and some of their former players.)
  4. Yes
  5. not really...
  6. Mississippi St. sucks... who cares... no one wants a pissing match this early...
  7. I didn't see the whole game but did not see anything excessive or dirty by either team. Did I miss it?
  8. I'll start off by saying this. Tuberville has more class in his left ear than Croom, Johnson (DC) and McCorvey (OC) do combined.
  9. I'm up for a few paragraphs, not a whole page worth.
  10. This is the second game in two years that the refs have lost control of a game early on. Most of it comes from MSU players talking a lot of smack. Last weekend, and routine play that ended up out of bounds one of the MSU players pushed one of Bama's a good 5-6 yards out of bounds. He was called for a personal foul and found Croom's hand grabbing his facemask yelling at him when he walked back over to their sidelines.
