Inevitable. The SEC West has gotten much better with teams like Ole Miss, Bama and Arkansas on the rise. Losing 45-0 to Ole Miss. Unforgivable. Being an offensive minded coach, it's ironic the lack of offense is what did him in.
I like Croom but he just didnt have "it". Thats a tough job but so is ole piss and look what they have now. Croom probably didnt resign, I bet he was forced out.
Just heard on ESPN that Croom stepped down as head coach at Mississippi State.....bet he was forced out as you said.....
While he has to accept responsibility... still tough to recruit in this conference. Who'd wanna go to State with the other SEC teams that could be chosen by these kids?
