CWS: LSU vs. UNC

Game is still early but that 2 run blast in the 1st hurt big time, and now only in the top of the 2nd we have action in the bullpen.

 

Line drive to 1st with two on and 1 out, then easy base tag for the 3rd out... LSU dodges another bullet.

 

Once again getting embarassed at the plate.

 

This is really hard to watch so far.

 

Ouch, another run scores. This could get away from us quickly.

 

Sometimes I watch this team and wonder how they won so many games ... uggh!!
Still early but it's time to get Glenn out of there ....
And there he goes.

 

They seem to have no rhythm in the field or at the plate.

 

Mainieri said that he was starting Glenn today because of so many NC left hand hitters. Well, why didn't he start Glenn Sunday against UCLA with such a low batting average? He and his hitting coach just don't seem with it.
Now the relief pitcher is getting hit. First pitch hitting is so much more aggressive; something LSU won't do!

 

LSU looks like they have never been to the CWS. Deer in the headlights!
