I could have sworn I only own Hawkeye stuff... We've "inherited" my wife's nephew... good kid, getting out of rehab, fresh start, all that... anyway, I gave him a couple of boxes of clothes to mull through... and he comes in saying, "Uncle (Hawker), you mean I can have this FSU jersey?". Forgot I had the dadgum thing.:shock: The jersey was "gifted" to me by my neighbor, the big FSU fan, when he picked up my wife, Snoopy, and me for the FSU/BYU game at Alltel a few years ago. (I didn't ACTUALLY buy it!) So fess up... be honest... any of you LSU diehards own stuff from other colleges? Do you ever wear it?
I did find a auburn shirt in my closet one time that i had when i was young. I took it and burned it.:geauxtige
when i was little I had my Michigan Starter jacket... and I have my UL stuff of course... now-a-days I wear mostly LSU and UL, but I also have a t-shirt or two from La Tech, Nicholls, UNO... I'll wear any Louisiana school's stuff... well.. maybe not Tulane... not big on private schools...
Finally retired my old NLU sweat pants. Also, my favorite hat from high school was my Indiana Hoosiers hat.
I've got a couple things from the University of Texas. I've got one of those metalic car emblems & a baseball cap in a box somewhere. I also have a full size football with the longhorn on it in my apartment that we toss around sometimes.
Still have some of my NLU stuff. And since they are getting forced by the NCAA to go PC and change their name, I'll have to keep them. HA..:hihi:
