Dandydon predicts LSU TO BEAT MSU 20-17? Are you kidding me? we beat this team 51-0 last year, and they lost to Auburn 28-0 . Is this possible?
You know we're in trouble when always-extremely-positive Dandy picks us to beat lowly MSU by only a field goal.
Nah, at least a 30 point blowout. It'll be ugly early and often. Flynn and RP will see some action...
I would like to ask everyone around here for some guidance. Please answer this question for me: If I take Mississippi State and the points, and bet against LSU covering the spread for this weekend's football game, does that make me a "Bad LSU Fan"?? Please answer quickly, because I want to get my bet in early, but I won't do it, if that makes me a "Bad Fan". Thank you for your time.
No, that does not make you a bad fan. Remember Michael Corleone's line -- its not personal, its just business. The bet is a business decision; pulling for LSU is personal. Regardless, you can look at it as simple hedging. You will, of course, pull for LSU to win. But, if they win by less than the point spread, you win 2 ways -- your team won, and you won your bet. If we blow out State, well, you lose the bet, but at least you saw the team get back on its feet with a big win. I won't even approach the other potential option that has you winning the bet, though.
Because they wanted to take one shot at the endzone and there was plenty of time as long as the throw was in the endzone, out of bounds or incomplete. Against a slower team JR might have scored, but it was a poor decision for a slow immobile QB to take off running against a team as fast as Tennessee even if he had a mile of open space in front of him. It was a poor choice by JR not the staff on this one.
DID YOU SEE THE GAME? He didn't even have a chance to get up and spike the ball the stupid ass coaches had he field goal unit running on the field. Bad move by JR running but stupid move by the coaches having the FG TEAM ON THE FIELD.
I don't think spiking the ball at that point (while the FG unit was running on) was an option. Wasn't JR's run on 3rd down, so if he'd gotten up and spiked it, that would've been 4th down.
