I saw this on twitter today and I knew right away that @LaSalleAve would be all over it.

My grandma, die hard GOP conservative, part of the WW2 generation, I took her to a funeral over the weekend for my great uncle (my grandpa and her late husband's brother). That was rough but anyway, she was all pissed off at Vitter for being one of a few R senators to vote for something that included 1.1 trillion spending bill, I had no idea what she talking about because I'm not nearly as engaged as I used to be, but she was pissed. Get to the funeral and it seemed like everyone there was bad mouthing Vitter, except me and I already disliked him.

If there is truly right in the world he will go the way of Anthony Weiner in his election comeback. Elections can be cruel.
