The new asphalt resurfacing at daytona was fast last Saturday night. Top speeds reached 204 mph and the cars looked to have plenty grip. Sunday's 500 is going to be a great race. BBQ pit is ready for a new season and I for one can't wait. Damn good job on the new track
Yep, but I don't know if I like the 2x2 racing. Its certainly not better than pack racing. Welcome to the Lovebug 500!
Waltrip, McReynolds and co. said at some point during the race that the drivers found during practice that two car hookups increased speed, but 3 or more running together didn't increase it any more.
