Will prob. be announced on Monday and I believe will be Bo Pellini. I am wishing for Campo but I keep hearing Pellini.
Syracuse already has Texas' DC Greg Robinson as their head coach.... Pelini is wishful thinking, he was being interviewed for headcoaching positions so why would he come here for the same position he has at OU.
He is definately interested enough to bring his family to BR to meet Miles and have dinner with Miles' family. If Pellini wasn't interested, then why did he interview? So if we assume he is interested, then why is it wishful thinking? Also, to the other poster..this was Pellini's first year as co-DC at OU, that was Stoops/Venables' defense that got torched.
I was unaware that Pellini had come to BR to be interviewed, so I retract my 'wishful thinking' remark. Just seemed to me that this was a sideways leap, and almost a slap in the face after interviewing for head coaching positions.
Please. I guess you wouldn't want WM after we got ripped by UGA either then? USC would have beaten anyone that game. They also just made some great plays.
I have no idea if Pellini is coming. He may have interviewed for HC positions but he wasn't hired. Maybe after going through the process he realized that he need to remain a DC. Who knows ? Hopefully we'll have good news today.
We all inferred that he had to wait for the Super Bowl to be over. Miles never said it. They had about 6 coaches come in over the past 5 days and it's hard to tell who is interviewing for what position but you bet that Bo was here interviewing for a position job.
