Before signing that little contract with South Carolina, please consider signing with LSU.

Now forget about all the additional money you'd make at LSU, let's get to what's important:

South Louisiana has on average 311 GPD (golf playing days) per year, while South Carolina has only 274 GPDs. These are facts verified by the weather channel.

Your proximity to Augusta National if at SC excites you? Look, their tricked up tortuous greens will frustrate and infuriate you, and send you to an early grave. You need a big friendly course like Santa Maria (RT Jones), or the Bluffs (Arnie).

Furthermore, David Toms has agreed in principal to playing golf with you and instructing you on a regular basis.

    Sincerely, Frogleg:grin:

Please, Please, come coach LSU! you sandbagger:rofl:

Sorry. Myrtle Beach has more courses than the entire state of LA, and quality ones at that. Don't use golf in the pitch, LA will lose that one.

Myrtle Beach, Kiawa Island, Hilton Head all have quality golf courses that make La look like a Putt-Putt. He won't leave based on golf, that being said. He won't leave period.

Oh, pardon me, LA dosen't have quality courses? The bluffs, Santa Maria, TCP of LA, English Turn, Cypress Bend, Gray Plantation...I could go on and on...

But, anyway, most golfers play a home course 90% of the time. The other 10% Steve can hop on the Tiger Jet and go play Pebble Beach.

That's right! Throw in a Tiger JET!

You, sir, do not know golf. You need just one quality course, like The Bluffs, by Arnold Palmer. A quiet course for members and a few guest.

Who wants to fight the tourist in Myrtle Beach! Good luck w/ the Tee times SPurrier.

I guarantee you, Spurrier, will never have to fight for a tee time. Spurrier is known for traveling far and wide to play quality courses. I was just commenting in those three places, you have an insane amount of moderate to difficult courses to play. I just see South Carolina as a bigger golf state than La, along with the rest of the nation.

I work in golf and have seen every course in LA. Golf in LA is a joke compared to the Carolinas. I'm sure Spurrier will be playing more than one course- and for free at that. SC has more courses per capita than any other state in the country- fact.

    Amen, my brother.

What they don't understand is that Myrtle Beach is big "vacation golf" destination filled with gobs and gobs of tourist. Different than looking for a quality home course.

Spurrier isn't planning a golf vacation? Is he? oh my g...
