I don't believe you and we get sick of people sterotyping our state.
I don't believe you are an authority.

Half the courses in LA can't pay their bills. I'm not saying there aren't some good ones, but you're huffing gasoline if you think LA compares to SC in golf. I still have ties to most of the courses down there, but had to move out because the business took a dive after 9-11. Recreational spending was one of the first to go. I'm not stereotyping. I'm stating facts. You don't have to believe me, but if you go to the Carolinas touting your golf, you'll get laughed out the door.

Everybody here is partially right. South Carolina courses are unbelievable. I don't understand how they can have that many good courses. With that said, a good course is a good course and a college coach is not going to be playing 100 different golf courses during the year. Would not want all the distractions.

Ummm... I would think that the time Spurrier actually spends in Louisiana would be best suited to coaching, recruiting, hiring staff... you know those little things that it takes to win titles. He can travel to play golf during his vacation.

:lsug: Please leave our new Coach alone.

We have not had him long and look forward to him staying and helping us develop a winning team. Not just one that is competitive at times. :thumb:

Still looking for some good Cajun tailgating receipes

There isn't any harm in shooting for the moon (Spurrier). It's very possible that someone has spoken with someone in the Spurrier Camp. He's not one of the top 4 candidates at the moment but I'm hearing Skip has alot high profile candidates we don't know about.

Spurrier's a great coach who loves winning, no signed contract, National/SEC power LSU is looking, nice golf climate in Baton Rouge,

oh forget that, Jesus people, let's focus on what Dandy Don and reliable sources are telling us.
