had one more solo trip to make this year and got a decent 9 point. Rest of the season is back to letting my boy try to shoot another one.
That's a nice buck. You have said you typically hike in. Do you have to pack that deer out on your back?
Nah i drove in there and got him with the 4 wheeler. occasionally go get one by boat. but yes i generally make long walks. this spot isn't that bad though only 0.6mi walk and mostly flat.
In the old jungle movies the white hunters always had native bearers to carry their stuff and haul the kill out. Just a thought
