next time there is a rumor about some one getting hired, instead of talking about him alot and saying its 99 percent sure he ll be it maybe we should say he won't, because it looks like everytime we start talking about a DC he either gets a better job offer or turns the job down here's to hiring a top notch DC :thumb: :geaux:
My prediction Based upon my sources, I predict LSU will hire a defensive coordinator at some point during the next two months. This coach will come from the NFL or college assistant coaching ranks. He/she will run an 11 man defense. He will favor the use of a whistle in practices.

We could have worse problems than being considered by the top coordinators on the market. Miles is smart in going for the top guys, taking his time, and not settling for second best.
No doubt about it especially since Miles is an offensive coach he needs to take his time and get the right DC for the job. He has interviewed some quality candidates and hopefully will be able to reel in a good one. Many have voiced concern over the time it is taking but I would be more concerned if we rushed and ended up with someone not qualified for the job.
