A Louisiana team is the first opponent on the scheule. Very little mention or coverage of LSU nationally. Arizona is our second game of the season. Auburn is being hyped by the national media as the best team in the SEC. Florida is our week six opponent. :crystal:
Great Point!!! I am now sold that the Tigers will win the national Championship. Go Tigers!!!!:crystal:
Of course we can find tons of things different. I just remember feeling pretty confident before the 2003 season. Then again I usually do. LSU just got no coverage of all because ULM was the first week's opponent. Then came the Arizona game and it was hyped up as a big game. The Arizona team was supposed to be united again after having turmoil the season before. In the meantime Auburn's national title hopes ended early on to USC and they never recovered (nationally, had a nice SEC year tho). As for the big games being on the road. As Les has said, if you want to be a champion then you have to win tough games on the rough.
Just like in 03 I will be in a different state for the first game. That was the first season that I missed the opening game.
And one more on the 29th of Aug back in 03 Tropical Storm Grace crossed into the southern Gulf of Mexico. The 29th of Aug 06 is the projected date for Tropical Storm Ernesto to cross into the southern Gulf of Mexico.
