Where is he going to fit next year ? Wasn't this year the last year of his contract or is it next year ?

I actually think they shouldn't re-sign him and use the salary towards a impact defensive player which they do have some available this off season. I really think if he wasn't from LSU people wouldn't be so high on him

This was the last year of his contract. If he commands a high salary, I wouldn't resign him, but if he can be had for a low rate, there's nothing wrong with keeping him on. He's a legitimate deep threat. As much potential as Meachem may have, he's done nothing to indicate he's ready to step into that role.

Man, I hope not. Playing Winslow and Henderson twice a year could give our db's fits.

    Don't get me wrong...I ain't scared of 'em....but I hate the Bucs and I wouldn't like a Tiger/Saint to go there.....ANYWHERE but Tampa.

Yeah, I see your point....but the fact still remains that I don't want a former Tiger and beloved Saint to play for a much despised division rival.

he can make his cache and catch his 30 passes. no harm no foul.

You give McCown too much credit. No way can he hit 45 yard go routes 40 times, assuming 5 drops.

Now if Warner goes to TB, that will change everything. Devery would be good for at least 35 catches, en route to a 5-11 season.
