Wasn't there a post by someone hoping that none of the LSU guys in the draft went to the Saints? I happen to be a Saints fan, but I hate to see Devery go to a team that will probably never get their act together.
Don't cry for Devery. He'll be close to home and his family can watch him play. By the way, I spoke to his uncle while getting boudin and cracklins at Best Stop. He was some fired up before the draft.
Well, there goes Devery's career... Down the crapper. Maybe he'll hold out ala Elway and go to an actual Football team. I held my breath for every Stains pick and prayed that no Tigers were taken. Unfortunatley it looks as though my clout with the Big Guy is running out. RIP Devery, you were good, kid.
I couldn't remember if that was close to home for him or not, I was actually thinking maybe he was the one from Alabama but now I remember that must've been Randall Gay. He should be happy now since he's close to home so thats good! :grin:
