Devin White to Stay?

I heard today that Devin White told Patrick Queen that he was staying at LSU for another year. Heard the audio of Queen giving an interview with some sports guy.

White must really like Coach Oeaux. I'm guessing he doesn't eat at Phil's Oyster Bar.

That would be some next level stuff. D White would help a lot. Get Chaisson back too. An older CEH and new game changing RBs. SR Burrow. More experienced and deeper OL and DL. Top 5 recruiting class. Lighter overall schedule (though the fighting mouth kissers might give us more of a game than ol’ Richter). The full @Kikicaca experience.

I’ll just throw in a gratuitous dig... if O pulls a Miles and pisses away ANOTHER opportunity with substandard offense/passing game next year, I’ll support immediate dismissal.

I think he will say this up until the time they explain how much the actual dollar figures are.

Shocked, and thrilled, to have him back, but Dev needs to go.

I'd be shocked. That would be like signing a six star inside linebacker! With Delpit and Chaisson coming back, that would be a damn strong nucleus for the defense.

would be great for LSU but I cannot see how he wouldnt get talked out of that. Already gonna be a high draft pick dont really see much room to move up and the risk for him is huge. I would like it if he did of course but I just do not see how that would be the final decision

It would be a strong leadership move for his team; very selfless. He’d be a LSU hero for sure. But deferring another year on life changing money is a big personal risk.

I imagine I’d advise him to go but make it clear that we’d love to have him back.
