Has anyone seen this kid play. On rivals they quote Saban as saying that this kid might be the best lineman in LA. I just figured if Saban really thought that that he would have already committed?

 

decent pass rusher ... too many better ahead of him.

 

i saw that he had 25 sacks in his senior season sounds a little better than a decent pass rusher. Is it because he was playing against avg. players.:geaux:

 

Lacks grades and test score. May be a sign and place.

 

He plays for Kennedy near N.O. lakefront in a pitiful league ... don't be fooled by 25 sacks ... he wouldn't get half that in Catholic League

 

I actually think Gales signs with the Hurricanes, I know that they really want him bad.

 

LSU went for Tyson Jackson instead of Gales. More speed, size, and far more upside potential than Gales.

LSU didn't do so badly, out of the top seven DEs, as rated by Rivals, LSU ended up with three of them, and out of the top five DTs, LSU got three of them, including the only 5 star prospect. I'd have to say Saban did all right for the defensive line!

 

Gales will be a sign and place for LSU. Only grades kept him for already committing.
