LSUgirlinTx Is it game time yet?

I'm in charge of dips this weekend. I'll be trying the Buffalo one, and I'd like to bring two more.

    Hot,Cold whatever. All recipes appreciated.

Dont have a recipe but I am sure you will figure it out. My wife makes our favorite dip for most of the away games.

If you are in Texas you have to have a Mexican 7 layer dip or a queso (Velveeta\Rotel and some spicy sausage)

Well I am Cajun, and I had the dip to end all dips...

Elvie's Heavenly Crab Dip...I'll get you the recipe tonight.

The other favorite is Spinach Dip.

    Spinach Dip recipe

    - frozen Spinach
    - Sour Cream
    - Cream Cheese
    - package of dry Ranch dressing
    - Cajun Power Garlic Sauce (to taste)

depending on the number of people you are feeding, 2 packs of spinach is enough to fill a 13" bowl.
This one is cold, so you can make it that morning...then Refrigerate.

    Rotel Cheese Dip

    - Velveeta Cheese
    - couple cans of Rotel Tomatoes

just mix together and heat till melted.

    you forget Frito Pie, Decks?!

7 layer is an oldy but a goody...I may make this one...

I'm thinking the Buffalo dip, LPrimo's Crab dip (SEND THIS ASAP!!!) and something cold...

Beer, dip, beer, more dip, hamburgers, sausage, beer- and I wonder why I'm 10 lbs heavier in December.

Frito Pie is the ultimate no mess meal. Buy a box of 50 small bags at Sam's, heat chili in a crock pot, buy a bag of shredded cheese. Mix all in the Frito bag and give the folk plastic spoons. But I always considered this more of a meal than a dip. That said, this may now be a part of my weekend.......
