Not sure if we will offer him. The interesting part is LSU trying to possibly land another Wroten that can come in early and contribute, especially with all the D-linemen we will lose these next 2 seasons.

    Akiem Hicks

One web site has announced 4 star linebacker Akiem Hicks has committed to LSU. Not much more information than that. He is a junior college prospect out of Sacramento City Community College, Sacramento, CA. Has anyone heard anything?

    He's a Defensive Tackle, actually. 6-6 295 and runs around a 4.9. Thats kind of Tyson Jackson-like.

Looks like a pretty good pickup..should help fill that big class gap between upperclassmen and the young guys for now.

He's built like Tyson Jackson from his listed numbers..should be a solid pickup and help fill the gap until the young guys are ready to step in.

Great pickup and a guy worthy of celebration.

Followed this guy for the past few months and he looks like a legitimate threat to step right onto the field at LSU. Some say he is the best DT/DE JUCO combo in the country.

Still room for another DE and DT is the opportunity presents itself. Dye is the other I am feeling good about landing on the Dline.
